Our journey began bright and early at 9:30 AM, departing from the picturesque Melia Punta Cana Beach Resort. With the sun shining and our spirits high, we set off to explore the vibrant shopping scene of Punta Cana.
Our transportation experience was unique and full of local flavor. We hopped onto a doorless transit bus for the outbound trip to the mall, providing us with a refreshing breeze and an authentic taste of the local commute. For our return trip, we enjoyed the comfort of an air-conditioned bus, offering a pleasant contrast and a bit of luxury as we headed back to the resort just in time for a delicious lunch at 1:00 PM.
Our first stop at San Juan Mall was the popular Jumbo supermarket. This sprawling store offered everything from fresh produce to household essentials, making it a one-stop-shop for both locals and tourists. We were impressed by the variety and quality of the products available, and we took our time exploring the different sections.
Next, we ventured into Ikea, where we were greeted by modern furniture and stylish home decor.
